Martlets Host Final Home Meet of Spring

The girls team hosted their final regular season meet of the year at home against a slew of tough opponents. Missing a few key contributors, the women dug deep and still competed with a determination to succeed. Ultimately, the reduced numbers proved too much to overcome as a team, but there were still many individual performances that stood out as highlights on the day. Sofia Eleuteri ‘28 and June Perrin ‘29 lead the charge for the martlets, winning the pole vault and 300m hurdles respectively. The relay teams also saw success on the track, finishing second in both the 4x100m and 4x400m. Hannah Batoh ‘28 (discus) and Arielle Anderson ‘28 (100m hurdles) also managed to secure second place finishes. Coming up next is the Founders league championship, where the girls will look to make a real impact both as a team and with some individual titles.
