Martlets Defeat Defending League Champs

It was a sunny 60 degree day as the Martlets welcomed defending Founders League Champ K-O to Osborn Field. Matt Shea '26 toed the rubber for his second start of the spring and put together an impressive performance. Shea would go 5.2IP, surrendering 0ER, while striking out 7. He gave his team a chance to win and the bats got going courtesy of George Willis '26. The post-grad doubled home two runs to put the black and gold in control at 3-0. Teddy Russell '26 came into get the final out of the 6th and the Martlets went on to score 6 in the bottom of the 6th to put the game away. Ethan Villacis '27 continued his hot start to the spring, with two hits and 2 steals. The Martlets got contributions up and down the lineup to improve to 2-1. The boys head to Loomis on Monday.
