Martlets Fall to Rumsey

The Westminster JV girls’ hockey team faced a formidable challenge against a powerful Rumsey Hall squad, ultimately falling 2–8. Despite the score, the Martlets showed relentless hustle against a high-octane offense. Westminster’s scoring came off the sticks of Joanna Halle (’29) and Aila Van Dolah (’28). In the defensive zone, Lily Pokorny (’29) earned high praise for her grit, navigating an exceptionally busy afternoon under constant pressure. The team saved their best for last, finding their stride in the third frame with a gritty performance that showcased their true character.
