Martlets Fall to Taft

Although the game ended in a loss, the boys put up a gallant effort and played well. Taft took an early 12-1 lead, then the Martlets battled back and trailed 13-10. When the whistle blew at halftime, Taft led 29-20. Westminster got no closer, but several players had good games. Colin Cirelli ‘29 had his best game of the season with good defense and excellent passing. Ethan He ‘28 continued his terrific play as he kept the Martlets close. Ben Katz ‘28 rebounded well and Eli Wilderman ‘29 played solid as the lead guard. The Martlets return to action on Wednesday at Avon.
