Martlets Shutout by Choate

The Martlets enjoyed a beautiful, scenic trip to Choate Rosemary Hall on a lovely fall Friday afternoon. Choate brought some power with a strong start to the first set. However, Maddy Gerges ‘29 put forth her best effort and successfully returned a challenging serve. Sophia Wen ‘29 did not let the score slow her down; she continued to hustle to each play to provide the Martlets with opportunities to score. Chloe Donovan ‘29 earned a few points with her strong serves and work on the net. Nandini Panigrahi ‘27 made a great dig to keep the ball in play, which led to a point for the Martlets. Arielle Anderson ‘28 also made a few great plays at the net and blocked some strong hits. Ainslee Deptula ‘28 made some great saves and sets, which led to more points for the Martlets.
