Martlets Bid Farewell to Coach O in Semifinal Loss

Loomis prevailed in the Semi-finals of the Class A Western New England Championship Tournament. However, the Martlets can be proud of a strong season overall, having won 6 out of their last 8 games. Melody El-Amin '27 had three hits and blasted a two run homer for Westminster. Natalie House '29 turned in a gritty pitching performance on the mound and also drove in two runs with a single in the first inning. Abigail Graham '27 had two hits and executed a perfect sacrifice bunt for the Black and Gold. Gabby de la Fe '26 finished her Westy softball career with a hit and two runs scored, Defensively, Lily Shuster '27, Kaitlyn Buda '27, Mya Polastry '27 Jane Curtiss '28, Caitlyn Eaton '28 and de la Fe were strong in the field. Behind the plate, El-Amin caught a fine game. The team is appreciative of the significant contributions of Seniors Gabby de la Fe, Teagan Overstreet, Anaya Huguley and Pippa Jiranek. We wish them well at the outstanding colleges they'll be attending!
