Martlets Fall to Choate

What a beautiful way to close out the tennis season on Senior Day, celebrating the incredible contributions and legacies of your five seniors—Reagan DeMovick, Heidi Huang, Sunshine Li, Ava O’Connell, and Kate Hui. Although a powerful Choate squad ultimately took the team win 6-1, the Westminster roster showed tremendous fight from top to bottom, highlighted by a dominant 6-2 victory at #3 doubles from freshman powerhouse duo, Claudia Cristia-Gil ‘29 and Nikki Ni ‘29, who carried their late-season momentum straight through the final match. The absolute highlight of the afternoon, however, belonged to Jasmine Fu ‘27 and Cristal Hwang ‘29, who earned the Grit and Grace award after fighting tooth and nail in a spectacular 5-5 "clash of the titans" battle.
