Martlets Get Revenge in Mercy Rule Win

Ever since a walk-off loss in Pawling, NY earlier this month, the Martlets have had this game circled. Matt Shea did Matt Shea things on the mound, throwing a CG with 8Ks. Offensively, it took a little while to get going but the boys unloaded in the later innings. George Willis '26 2-R blast sealed a mercy rule win in the bottom of the 5th. He had 6 RBI on the day, including a bases loaded triple. Ethan Villacis '27 had 3 hits, Monty Gantz '26 had two hits, and Jake Pleau '26 had 2 hits and 3 RBI. The boys will head to WeHa on Monday to take on K-O in a league matchup.
