Martlets Shutout Rhinos

The spotlight shone brightest on Lily Pokorny (’29), who secured her first career shutout. Pokorny was impenetrable between the pipes, turning away all 14 shots with composure to keep Taft off the board.
Offensive Fireworks - The Martlets' offense ignited early in the first period when Helen Kennedy (’27) found the back of the net from the slot, courtesy of a smooth pass from Aila Van Dolah (’28). Van Dolah then padded the lead herself, sending Westminster into the first intermission with a 2-0 cushion.
The momentum surged in the second as Joanna Halle (’29) brought the crowd to their feet with a spectacular coast-to-coast goal. Van Dolah struck again shortly after, finishing a crisp point-to-point setup from Macey Sheehan (’27). Abigail Cirelli capped off the scoring in the third to seal the win.
The team also benefited from a steadying guest appearance by Coach Mike Van Dolah, whose presence helped balance the bench for a complete team effort.
