Martlets Fall to Griffins

The Martlets hosted Pomfret School at the Kohn Squash Pavilion on a chilly New England day.  Isaac Kwon ‘28 delivered a standout performance. He dominated the T by keeping his opponent deep and effectively utilizing timely drop shots to secure his victory. Meanwhile, James Teng ‘26 played a highly disciplined match characterized by "measured squash" and tight rails. Although he fell in four games, his volley drops were a highlight, and his sportsmanship served as a model for the entire team. Finally, Will Henry ‘26, competing in the #5 spot, showed significant development in his game. While the match ended in three games, the scores remained competitive as he kept his opponent deep and mixed in solid cross courts to keep his opponent off balance when needed. The Martlets travel to Pawling, NY to play Trinity-Pawling at 3:30 on Saturday.
