Martlets Take Care of Kent

The Martlets set the tone early, dictating possession and tempo from the opening whistle. Chances came quickly, but it took persistence to finally find the back of the net. With just over eight minutes left in the first half, Maya Goddard ’26 opened the scoring off a cross from Izzie Leone ’27, giving Westminster a deserved lead heading into the break.
That momentum carried into the second half, and the Black and Gold quickly turned control into goals. Goddard struck again, this time unassisted, to double the advantage. Soon after, Coslyn Bardy ’28 converted a corner from Callie Graby ’28, and Bardy then turned provider to set up Caroline Gauvin ’27 for the fourth. Bardy capped the dominant stretch with her second tally of the day, finishing a pass from Lylah Leigner ’29.
With five goals from three different scorers and contributions across the lineup, it was a commanding performance that showcased both depth and chemistry. The Martlets now turn their focus to Saturday’s matchup back at home against Choate.
