    Taylor Casey joins the Visual Arts Department with a strong background in fine arts, arts education, and community engagement. A magna cum laude graduate of the University of Hartford’s Hartford Art School, she has exhibited her work throughout the Greater Hartford area and earned numerous accolades, including the REDUX Exhibition Visitors Choice Award. Taylor has experience as an independent artist and a gallery professional at the Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art. At Westminster, she looks forward to inspiring creativity, exploration, and confidence in her students through studio practice and visual expression.

    Bio
     
    David serves as the director of music at Westminster and is the conductor of the Chamber Choir and the Chorale. He teaches several courses that cover music history, music theory (including the Advanced Placement® course), and a songwriting course. In the history department, David teaches new Third Form students in the Global History course. David is also the school organist and is the musical director for the Winter Musical and the Spring Cabaret. 

    While earning his master’s degree at Yale, he studied with internationally known organists Thomas Murray, Charles Krigbaum, and Gere Hancock. He came to Westminster after six years at Choate Rosemary Hall, where he served in a variety of roles. His love of music has been cultivated through positions in several professional musical organizations, including the American Guild of Organists, the Connecticut Music Educators Association, and the American Choral Directors Association.
