For the past twenty years, Westminster’s boys have been known for their controlled style of play and perennial competitiveness, frequently earning ranking among the top twenty teams in New England. The First team competes annually for the Founders League title, playing a 16 game schedule against other schools in the Founders League and against other local independent prep schools. The boys won the school’s first New England Class A championship in 1991 and repeated the feat in 1992. Since then, they have had many successful seasons, making it to the semifinal game of the Class B tournament in 2000 and 2004.
