Mother-Daughter Art Show

Westminster School Sixth Former Mary Kille and her mother, Paula Kille, who are longtime residents of Simsbury, will present a joint exhibition of photographs and paintings titled “Nothing is Black and White: The Emotion of Color Through Lens and Brush” from March 23 to April 22 in Westminster’s Baxter Gallery. The opening of the show, which is free and open to the public, will take place March 23 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Mary is a current AP Photography student and has studied photography for the past three years. Her photographs visually articulate the emotion of color and its vibrancy and subtleties. Her mother, an interior architect and visual artist, will feature her abstract paintings as a complementary juxtaposition to her daughter’s photographs. Both of the Killes enjoy art and are delighted to have the opportunity to exhibit their artwork together before Mary graduates in May and attends Babson College next fall.

Baxter Gallery is located on the first floor of Armour Academic Center.
