A Gritty Win

Westminster hosted a gritty Pomfret team on Hovey Field for their second home game of the year. Junior Hadley Crowther ‘25 did an exceptional job on the draw control circle earning 5 draw controls in the afternoon. Goal scorers included Crowther (2), Caroline Callen ‘26 (2), Alex Musser ‘26 (1), Margee Mahoney ‘24 (1), Kate Epke ‘27 (1) and Delia Lockwood ‘26 (1). Musser and Epke both dished off two assists and Crowther added one assist. Margaret Dilks ‘24 and Lily Vincent ‘25 both put forth stellar defensive efforts for the Black & Gold. Dilks recorded 4 ground balls while Vincent recorded 3 ground balls and 2 caused turnovers.  Schuyler Groves ‘26 and Taleah Lenoard ‘26 both recorded 2 caused turnovers of their own. Charlotte Radin made nine saves for the afternoon.
