Big Win On The Road

Westminster traveled to nearby Farmington to take on Founder’s league opponent Miss Porters on a windy Saturday afternoon.  Alex Musser ‘25 set a personal record scoring 6 goals and earning 1 assist in the afternoon for a total of 7 points. Liza Merill ‘25 scored one goal and earned 4 draw controls. Hadley Crowther ‘25 did an incredible job taking the draw for the Martlets earning 4 draw controls of her own and played a key role in maintaining possession for the black & gold. Charlotte Radin finished the day with a save percentage over 50% stopping 10 of Porter's 18 shots on goal.  The Martlets defense of Taleah Leonard ‘26, Tilly Lynch ‘25, Delia Lockwood ‘25, Margaret Dilks ‘24, Eva Rodgers ‘25, Parker Perillo ‘26, Hadley Crowther ‘25 and Liza Merrill ‘25 all did a great job stopping Porters attempts at going on a “scoring run” throughout the game. Leonard’ 26 played a key role in slowing down the Porter's transition offense. Perillo netted two goals on the Martlets offensive end. Other goal scores included Nora Rodgers’ 24, and Kate Epke ‘27. Epke netted her first goal of her Martlet Career. Epke, Rodgers, Musser, Crowther, and Pokorny ‘26 all dished out assists.  The Martlets travel to Sacred Heart Greenwich on Wednesday to take on a talented Gators team.
