Martlets Defeat Porter's

Fantastic first win for the JV Martlets! The team exhibited exceptional dominance throughout the game while exemplifying admirable sportsmanship and camaraderie. In the opening moments of the first half, Helen Kennedy '27 swiftly netted the first goal just 15 seconds in, followed by Abbey Cirelli '27’s impressive goal a mere 30 seconds later. Abbey, undoubtedly the standout player of the match, continued her stellar performance by adding four more goals to her tally in the first half alone. A special acknowledgment goes to our goalkeeper, Taylor Schuster '24, who despite being relatively new to the game, embraced the immense responsibility and successfully thwarted numerous scoring attempts. Peyton Eckert '27 showcased relentless offensive prowess, tallying a total of five points, with her speed and agility proving formidable against the opposing defense. Meanwhile, our midfielders and defenders tirelessly supported the team's efforts, creating opportunities for Bella Lilien '27 to score three goals, Piper Lundin '26 to secure two goals, and Eliza Reilly '27 and Chase Hager '26 each to contribute a point. The team concluded the game with high spirits, buoyed by this promising start to what looks to be an amazing season ahead.
