Martlets Fall to Millbrook

For the last match of the season, the Martlets hosted a talented Millbrook JV team. As in the previous match, everyone gave it their all, but the results were not what we had hoped for. Although many of the match results were lopsided, there were numerous close games within each match. Crosby Cutler ‘27, Caden Powers ‘27, and Zach Li ‘27 each lost a game by a mere two points. Meanwhile, Mathias Seber ‘26, Tyson Mertz ‘27, and Gideon Williams ‘27 managed to secure victories in the first or second game to keep their matches close. The match of the day belonged to Chip Genung ‘25, who used his length to control the T and go up 2-1 before running out of steam in the final two frames. Thanks to the parents for all their support throughout the season, and for facilitating a pizza-cupcake celebration after the match. And finally, special recognition and appreciation  to 3-year veterans Johnathan Li ‘24 and Harvey DeMovick ‘24 for their quiet leadership and inspiration.
