Martlets Defeat Deerfield
The Martlets skated to a decisive victory over a visiting Deerfield squad today. Scoring came early as Abigail Graham ('27), and Anastasia Augsberger ('26) netted solo efforts with Lucy Wainwright ('25) adding another two in the first period. Over the balance of the game, Graham scored three more times collecting her third hat trick on the season! Augsberger was the other multi-goal scorer for the Martlets adding her second of the game in the third period. Anna Klapman ('26) also tallied in the third. Tilly Lynch ('25) kicked out 25 shots over the three periods giving her over 200 saves on the season! A fantastic effort and some excellent playmaking by forwards and the defense throughout the game kept Deerfield off their edges. It was all black and gold at the final buzzer.
