Martlets Defeat Suffield

The Martlets got their weekend off to a good start with a commanding win over Suffield. The team looked strong from top to bottom. Maddie Clark ‘25 and Camilla Norton ‘25 held off late challenges by their opponents to each win in three games at the top two spots. Clover Cooper ‘26 dropped the first game at #3 but then figured out her opponent’s weaknesses and took the next three games. Alex Musser ‘26 showed off her athleticism and strength in her 3-0 win at #4. Lilly McMillen ‘27 proved the theory that she loves five game matches. After losing the first game she won the next two only to lose the fourth game. She held on for the 11-8 win in the final frame. Grace Kim ‘25 scored the final official win for the Martlets disposing of her opponent quickly. Luna Yang ‘26 and Caroline Callen ‘26 also won their exhibition matches. With two good matches on the week, the girls earned their Saturday off before facing the full week ahead.
