Martlets Defeat Rhinos

Hoping to redeem a close loss to strong Taft squad on their home ice back in January, the Martlets greeted the Rhinos from Watertown with energy and aggressive play. Thanks to the outstanding goaltending of Tilly Lynch ('25), who had 32 saves (!!) on the game, the Martlets ended the first period in a 0 - 0 lock with Taft. Then, out of the gates for the second period, Abigail Graham ('27) netted the puck twice and Abby Cirelli ('27) added another giving the Westy squad a 3 - 1 cushion heading into an exciting and fast-paced third period. Anna Klapman ('26) and Chase Carter ('26) each added some important insurance to the scoreboard which flashed 5 - 2 at the buzzer! A great game of hockey was exhibited by both teams.
