Martlets Defeat Frederick Gunn

The Splash Sisters were happy to celebrate the second win of their season with their victory against Frederick Gunn. The game started with a basket from Bella Lillien ‘27 as soon as the clock started. After that, the first quarter progressed at a slow pace, as the teams got acquainted with one another. Celebrating her return to the court, captain Avauni Anderson ‘25 fostered team cohesion and scored a few baskets of her own during the second quarter, which put the Martlets well ahead of Gunn. As the players became more comfortable with their opponent, their plays started becoming quicker, and their passes and shots were more strategic. After this shift in the dynamic of the game, Kelly Youngman ’24 and Piper Lundin ‘26 showed their skills on the court by scoring three-pointers
