Martlets Drop Game to Williston

Westminster faced off against Williston for the second time this season, with the first meeting resulting in a tie. The first period was back and forth until with under five minutes left the Martlets found themselves on a 5v3 penalty kill.  Williston found the back twice on the power play and finished off the first period with a short handed goal.  Heading into the second period the Martlets down 3-0 did not give up.  On a rush Olivia Emerson made a great pass to Alyssa Jimenez, who placed a shot beating the goalie.  Before the period was over Williston added another shorthanded goal making the score 4-1.  They added a 5th goal with under a minute left in the game. Julia Matias had just over 50 saves on the day.
