Martlets Defeat Bearcats
The JV Girls Hockey team traveled to Lakeville and subdued the Bearcats with excellent play at both ends of the ice throughout the game. After experiencing two successive losses, the Martlets responded by firing over 20 shots on goal and netting 6. Abigail Graham led the way with her second hat trick of the season. She tallied a goal each period relying on the support of Chase Carter ('26) and Paige Herlihey ('26). The other linemate, Sophie Grace Stevenson ('25), grabbed her first tally of the season with a well-timed wrist shot off a rebound. Abbey Cirelli ('27) scored in the second period after an elusive coast-to-coast skate up the rink. Lucy Wainwright ('25) also notched a goal in the second period. Kicking out 11 shots at the Marlet end, Tilly Lynch ('25) earned her first shutout of the season!
