Martlets Split Two Matches

After suffering the first defeat of the season on Saturday at Kent, the Martlets bounced back with a gritty 6-1 victory versus host Pomfret. Jason Hu ‘24 and James Teng ‘26 won quick first games while  Henry Naylor ‘25 lost 9-11 at #6. Hu and Teng finished with 3-0 victories, but Naylor never found his groove. In the second round of matches, Pomfret took the first games at #7 and #3 against Ben Swift ‘25 and Mason Abbate ‘24. Both players recovered to win their matches, but it was Captain Andrew Pang ‘24 and Sixth Former Kai Appleton who sealed the win with strong performances. Pang allowed only 4 points in his match.
