Martlets Fall to Capital Squash

The Martlets played a competitive match against Hartford’s Capitol Squash program. The Black and Gold held their own in the middle of the lineup. Lucy Morton ‘26 at #4 won her first match of the season in four games. Clover Cooper ‘26 was dominant at #5, dropping a total of six points. Lilly McMillen ‘27 fought hard at #6 to hold off her opponent in four close games. The match came down to #3 Camilla Norton ‘25 at #3. After losing the first game, she battled to win the next two by two points each. Unfortunately, she could not maintain the momentum and lost in five games. Overall, it was a good match for the young squad that is learning how to find a rhythm on the court. The Martlets have plenty of time to practice before their next match in 2024!
