Martlets Fall to Berkshire

After coming off a few good practices and playing hard against Hotchkiss, the Martlets were ready to take on always-strong Berkshire. Westminster was able to frustrate Berkshire a little in the middle of the field through hard work by Luka Misko ‘27, Galima Sonnah ‘26, and Abraham Monsee ‘25. Berkshire would break through about midway through the first half and then again soon after to take a 2-0 lead into the half. Keeping things positive at the half the Martlets dug deep and played an outstanding second half. Some of the younger guys like Matthew Gregorski ‘27, Connor Gray ‘26, Finn Williams ‘26, and Daniel Olaosebikan ‘27 all saw valuable time in a high-paced match. Holding the back line strong was Jackson Raymond ‘24. Berkshire would add a third on the day late in the match. Finishing the day in the net with a strong 12-save performance and getting the team wrench would be Dennis Quiwon ‘26.
