Martlets Place 9th at Founder's

The boys cross country team raced the Founder's League Championship 5k this past Saturday at Hotchkiss and finished ninth overall.  Sam Hyde ('25) again finished as the top Martlet, finishing in 19:48, good enough for 38th overall and a season's best time for him.  Tyler (TD) Daley ('24) dazzled with a finishing sprint for the ages, which makes one wonder if he had even more in the tank...  James O'Connell ('25), who was sick the past two weeks and Daniel Frid ('27) who was injured, tried all they could to help the team despite not being in top form.  Nicholas Ramsumair ('27) had another great race, finishing in 22:44 and missing a personal best by 4 seconds and was again the top third-former.   Right in front of him was Rhys Marschke ('24), who called his shot and ran another negative split and had his best time so far this season.  Adrien Dellaert ('25) followed as the sixth fastest Martlet, despite spending time getting mad at a golf cart.  Lastly, Matt O'Connell ('25) finished things off with possibly his best race of the season, missing a personal best by 10 seconds on arguably the toughest course so far!
