Martlets Fall to Berkshire

The Martlets witnessed a debut from Mason Abbate ‘24 in goal this afternoon, who showed safe hands following a late change in goal. Mason was useful in distribution and started several fast breaks from his own box. The Martlets brought a reaction from Berkshire in the second half after a wonderful individual effort from Alex Do ‘24. Alex collected the ball outside the Berkshire box and curled his shot into the far corner. Alex showed his usual intensity on the ball, and it has been good having him available once more. Caden Powers ‘26 delivered a composed performance at right back this afternoon. Caden rose to a challenging opponent and nullified much of their threat. The team soaked up considerable pressure against a well drilled Berkshire team, and will be looking for a victory against Kent on Wednesday.
