Martlets Fall to LC

The Martlets were back at it on a warm sunny day for late October. Loomis would get on the board midway through the first half off a corner that fell in the box and was knocked home inside the 6 yard box. The Pelicans would score again soon after which looked like a very offside goal, however the linesman would put down his flag after most players on the field stopped. Loomis would take a 3-0 lead into the half. In what has been a season of Grit the Martlets put their work boots on and played 44 mins of scoreless soccer in the second half and would have some chances to get on the board. Another strong effort for Westminster but came up short. The team wrench would be passed to Garrett Rohrbaugh ‘27 who has turned into one of two starting freshmen this season.
