Martlets Tie Taft

The Martlets faced Taft once again in our second home game of the season. Once more, we displayed impressive skill, and this time, we were resolute in preventing them from scoring. Teagan Lynch ’27 and Lulu Hurley ’27 stepped out of their comfort zones, exhibiting exceptional determination as they tirelessly played and charged, especially when the pressure mounted as the ball neared our goal. Frances Trafelet ’26, Parker Perillo ’26, and Macey Sheehan ’27 continued to exemplify incredible team spirit, seizing every opportunity to make precise passes and rushing to assist their teammates. Amori Morgan ’27 and Abigail Graham ’27 played pivotal roles in our defense. As we intensified our efforts to score in the latter part of the game, we had fewer defensive players, but they held their ground with low sticks and swift footwork, maintaining a steadfast focus on the ball while also providing valuable support to our goalie, Harriet Leventhal ’26.
