Martlets Fall to Salisbury

The Martlets faced Salisbury at their home. In the first half, the Martlets struggled with possession and communication, allowing Salisbury to score two goals. Despite the setback, Conner Scollans '26 stood out as a phenomenal Central Defensive Midfielder, displaying excellent ball control and making effective passes. Jin Lee '24 scored an impressive free-kick goal that the Salisbury goalkeeper couldn't stop. Unfortunately, Danny Maher '26 sustained an injury while resisting Salisbury's forwards.

In the second half, Jeffrey Niu '26 took over as the goalkeeper and performed admirably, but Salisbury managed to score another goal. Nevertheless, players Dylan Ness '26 and Mark Yang '26 delivered strong performances throughout the game. Despite the challenges, the Martlets showed determination and are eagerly looking forward to their next game.
