Martlets Run with Suffield and Berkshire
The short-handed boys cross country team raced their parents' weekend meet at the Berkshire School and lost two close matchups against Suffield and Berkshire on the most challenging course of the season. Despite the losses, this was their best showing as a team of the season despite being down three runners. The team was led by Sam Hyde ('25) who had a phenomenal race and finished third overall. James O'Connell ('25) finished fifth overall for his highest placing of the season. Tyler (TD) Daley ('24) was the third fast boys finisher for Westy, and was followed by the team's fastest third former of the day Nicholas Ramsumair ('27). Additionally, Adrien Dellaert ('25) and Rhys Marschke ('24) finished in a tie for 21st overall with Matt O'Connell ('25) in 25th place.
