Martlets Fall to Hopkins

The second game of the double header, Westminster finished the day playing Hopkins. In their 11-5 loss, the Martlets had a slow start, not earning any goals in the first quarter, and finishing the first half at a 9 point deficit, 1-10. With fewer substitutes available, Westminster fought back in the 3rd quarter, scoring three goals and giving up none. Nolan Styspeck ‘24 and Simon Stambaugh ’26 both demonstrated their defensive prowess helping to keep the ball away from the goal, as well as moving the ball on offense. By the end of the day, the boys had shown a lot of good work, with understanding of what to work on moving forward.
