Martlets Defeat Eaglebrook

The Westminster boys hosted Eaglebrook this Wednesday. In their first victory of the season, the boys demonstrated their ability to regain and maintain focus, while showing their endurance against the larger visitor team. After the first quarter, Eaglebrook had a 1 point lead earned by one player, who also drew several ejections from the Martlets. Refocusing, while also minding their ability to foul, the boys kept the game within a point before tying the game at the end of the 3rd quarter. Reminiscent of our game on Monday, the Martlets demonstrated their grit by playing a hard 4th quarter, earning 5 goals to net the 15-11 victory. Reginald Kanu 25’ and Andrew Pang 24’ each earned 2 points in the 4th, and earned 9 of our points across the whole match. While there is room for improvement, the boys left with the taste of victory, and are hungry for more!
