Martlets Battle K-O

On what was supposed to be a downpouring of rain of a game turned into on and off showers and both teams competed hard for 90 mins. The Martlets fell short again today 2-1 but again improved and showed a lot of commitment. Down again some players Westminster started 6 sophomores and 2 freshmen. KO would get on the board first to take a 1-0 lead into halftime. Westminster would make some adjustments and come out strong in the second half. About halfway through the second half Daniel Olaosebikan ‘26 would hustle and not give up on a play and crossed a ball into the box for Abraham Monsee ‘25 to hammer home to tie the score up. KO would get the go ahead goal late. Galima Sonnah would be awarded the team wrench for his box to box player for 90 mins. The Martlets are on the road Wednesday up at Deerfield.
