Martlets Fall to Choate

It was a tough day to be a Martlet on the road at Choate. The team failed to find their legs or rhythm. The Wild Boars have a seasoned group of juniors and were able to keep control of the ball and find many chances in the first half to take a 4-0 lead. With a few more injuries during the game the second half found Westminster leaning on some players that have not played much this season. A few bright spots on the day were Garrett Rohrbaugh ‘27 and Connor Gray ‘26 who played on the outside in the back, they played hard and gained a ton of experience. Another two guys who played much of the second half on the wings were Matt Gregorski ‘27 and Nick Lopriore ‘26 who hustled and were able to make some strong plays on the ball. The team is back at it this weekend finally at home after starting the first two weeks on the road. The team wrench went to Leo DiStefano ‘24 for his hard defensive play and never give up attitude.
