Martlets Fall to NMH

Playing our third game this week, the Martlets enjoyed the support of the home crowd, playing an overall stronger game despite the outcome. As usual, our team defense was strong, getting several turnovers out of a full-court press. But too many fouls brought NMH players to the free-throw line for easy buckets, making up a solid portion of their offensive output. Our offensive set was often messy, sometimes forgetting to run a play or making poor passes that generated turnovers. Still, when the team did not panic, passed, spaced, and cut to the basket, we got some offensive output. Captain Logan Sun '24 led the team with twelve points, and Finn Hocking '26 followed with six points. Mike Basich '26 and Daniel Olaosebikan '26 fought hard in the paint on both the offensive and defensive boards, going to the line on several fouls. Overall, our basketball team is improving as we get more experience under our belt.
