Martlets Fall on the Road

Water Polo fell to a strong Hopkins side in a tough away match this Wednesday afternoon. However, the aquatic Martlets managed to battle evenly with the home side creating several turnovers and running down the shot clock. Offensively, the visitors moved the ball well and found themselves creating chances well but hitting the post often. However, the hosts regrouped and managed to get momentum on their side and put the game out of reach. Wills Erda ’24 was again excellent in goal, even managing a slick save off the line in the second half. Scorers for Westminster included  Filip Tomic ’25, Chris Paollela ’23, and Will Whiting ’24 who continues to establish himself as a threat from multiple angles. The Westminster side will look to right the ship against St. John's Prep with the home advantage this Saturday.
