JV Hoops Drops Game to Ethel Walker

It was great to see some supporters and family members of the Splash crew for today’s Monday clash against Ethel Walker. Although the sisters were not as focused as we could have been, there were still plenty of highlights from the contest. The player of the game for the martlets was Nina Ahl ‘22, who not only demonstrated great hustle and defense, but scored the first basket of her Westminster career! We were also proud of Marleigh Monroe ‘24 who shook off some early turnovers and shooting woes and ended up as our high scorer. That’s the mental toughness we love to see. Kara Dominick ‘22 and Alexi Haimes ‘23 also added to the scoresheet and came away with some great defensive stops. It was also great to see Kelly Youngman ‘24 back on the court. Despite being out the last few days, she demonstrated great energy and determination in her return. The team looks to bounce back with another home game Wednesday against Williston.
