Another Loss on the Road

Westminster found itself trailing Deerfield early, but the team settled down nicely, finally adhering more closely to the game plan. They only allowed 18 second-half points as they started playing smarter, more physical defense and more patient offense. If they're going to break 30 points again, they can’t commit 16 turnovers as they did Dec. 14. They'll have to start recognizing when they actually have numbers on offense versus when they need to kick the ball back out to the perimeter. There are moments of greatness when they move the ball, use what the defense is giving them and find the best shot. The Martlets do play hard; they just have to play smarter. Seven individuals made it into the scoring category. Ben Mihailovich '22 led the team again in rebounds.
