Physical, Hard-Fought Game

The Martlets faced a physical and talented Mid Fairfield team. The first period was back and forth with Julia Krys '19 coming up with numerous saves to hold the Stars to only one goal. Early in the second period, Westminster tied up the game with a beautiful shot from Blake Cote '19. Ultimately, the Martlets fell 6-1 to the Stars but played an excellent game and never gave up. Defensive play was outstanding, blocking numerous shots from the point.
