Well Played, Poor Result

Westminster played superb field hockey but struggled to convert a dominant first half. Ethel Walker rallied hard in the second half, balancing the game with two goals and ultimately scoring a winner to make it 3 to 2. Westminster shot 24 versus Ethel Walker’s five, but goals were harder to come by for the Martlets. Strong signs for the season ahead, but a tough result to swallow for the opening game of the season.
