Martlets Finish 7th at Founders
In the Martlets last hurrah of the season, they struggled to find their usual mojo in the annual Founders League Championship. Placing 7th out of 9 schools, the ball striking was just not there today, but that disappointment didn’t quell the team’s celebration of one last round together and putting closure on an exciting and rewarding season. Especially bittersweet was watching both Taylor Horgan ‘24 and Ella Ungerman ‘24 make their final putts to close out their last competitive round as a Martlet. Just so much to appreciate about these two young women as they make their way forward and hopefully find that their love for golf never really ever ends. Congratulations to both of them. With summer ahead, returning players will have a great opportunity to continue with their developmental progression, playing some family golf, taking a few lessons, and hitting the range in preparation for the 2025 season. Given the youth of the team, there is just so much promise. Congratulations to the entire team on a wonderful season.
