Martlets Fall in Founders' Semis

Westminster fell in a Founders League Semifinal matchup to AOF on a walkoff. The birds got an outstanding pitching performance from tri-captain Jack Sheldon '24, who went 8.1IP with 8Ks and 2H. In his final outing in black and gold, Sheldon was outstanding. Tri-captain Evin Curtiss '24 hit a 2-R HR to provide the offense for the Martlets but the team failed to tack on and left the bases loaded in the top of the ninth. It was a disappointing end to an outstanding season, as Westminster had only allowed 2 hits heading into the 9th. AOF strung together some hits to walk it off and head to the championship game. Two consecutive walk-off losses to AOF to end the year.
