Westminster Alumni Art Exhibit

Five Westminster alumni who are distinguished regional, national and international artists will exhibit their works of art at an alumni art show May 9-26 in the Baxter Gallery of Armour Academic Center.

The exhibit is free and open to the public Mondays through Fridays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The featured artists will present works in a variety of mediums.

Nancy Winship Milliken ’80 is a sculptor who uses a variety of natural and industrial materials to create site-specific installations that explore the relationship between humans and animals and the landscape around them.

Quince Quaintance ’54 considers himself a “natural Florida” painter, who tries to envision what Florida used to be. His landscapes tell a story about the importance of saving natural resources.

Chip Riegel ’90 is a professional photographer whose editorial assignments and commercial projects take him all over New England and the Mid-Atlantic states.

Will Sillin ’73 is a landscape painter who tries to find an unusual composition that conveys a sense of motion. His landscapes illustrate a model for the structure and changing states of physical phenomena and a sample of the universe.

Mike Tauber ’90 is a photographer specializing in portraiture, travel, interiors and architecture. He shoots worldwide for both magazines and commercial clients from his base in New York City.
Ample parking is available in the parking lot adjacent to the Armour Academic Center.
