Westminster School is a coeducational independent boarding and day school in Simsbury, Connecticut, serving students in grades 9–12 and postgraduates in a close-knit community of approximately 425 students. Known for its rigorous academics, exceptional college preparation, competitive athletics, vibrant arts programs, and supportive residential community, Westminster has challenged students to reach well beyond the ordinary since its founding in 1888. Guided by its motto of Grit and Grace, Westminster empowers students to gain the knowledge, character, and confidence to thrive in college and lead lives of purpose, achievement, and service.
