Dramat Presents “The Compleat Wrks of Wllm Shkspre (Abridged)”

There was no shortage of laughter during Dramat’s presentation of “The Compleat Wrks of Wllm Shkspre (Abridged)” Nov. 7– 9 in the Werner Centennial Center. This parody of all 37 of Shakespeare’s plays centered around a band of misfits offering skewed and compelling histories of the plays.
 
The players included Fred Baker ’15, Jewel Brown ’15, Shelby Gamble ’15, Chanice Gooden ’14, Duncan Kellogg ’15, Jeremy Mason ’16, Yvonne Pruitt ’14, Unique Shakoor ’15 and Kailin Wright ’16.
 
The chorus included Emma Alfeld ’16, George Brown ’15, Katelin Gochberg ’16, Ellen Gysai ’16, Marius Kluonis ’15, Mae Mullen ’14, Jacqui Richard ’16, Rebecca Ryan ’16, Nade Sae-Lim ’14, Fred Seo ’17 and Tiger Zhang ’17.
 
The crew included Sarah Alibrahimi ’16, Taina Cotto ’16, Joyce Cheng ’16, Jeremy Cutler ’17, Cindy Jeong ’17, Eunice Lee ’16, Shanntal Morel ’17, Dominica Park ’14 and Soon Park ’14.

“The Compleat Wrks of Wllm Shkspre (Abridged)” was written by Adam Long, Daniel Singer and Jess Winfield, and arranged for multiple players by Westminster’s Director of Theater A-men Rasheed. It was produced by special arrangement with Broadway Play Publishing Inc.
