Westminster Softball Earns No. 1 Seed in Class A Western New England Tournament
With a win over Hopkins on Wednesday, First Girls’ Softball completed the regular season with a 15-1 record and has earned the No. 1 seed for New Englands. It marks the eighth consecutive year that the team has achieved a seeding for post-season play. The 2013 Class A Tournament features four very talented teams: Westminster, Choate, Suffield and Northfield Mount Herman. The Martlets will play at home against Suffield Academy on Saturday, May 18, at 1:30 p.m.
