Guitarist and Composer Norman Johnson to Perform at Westminster April 5

Guitarist and composer Norman Johnson and a trio of performers will be the featured musicians on April 5 as a part of Westminster’s “Friday Nights in Gund,” a series of free public concerts, readings and lectures held at Westminster School during the academic year.
 
Johnson along with Ken Fischer on piano, Don Wallace on bass and Arti Dixon on drums will play songs from Johnson’s recently released collection, “Get It While You Can.” Johnson has served as the dean of the Hartford Conservatory of Music and Dance and a teacher at the Artist Collective in Hartford.
 
The Westminster performance will take place from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Gund Reading Room of the Armour Academic Center. Ample parking will be available in the parking lot adjacent to the Armour Academic Center.
